Your Go-To-Dog Groomer
When your pup could use some pampering, call me!
I’m Alyssa Spinks, owner of the salon since 2022, and I’m dedicated to helping your furry friends look and feel their very best.
With a genuine love for animals, I provide personalized grooming services tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s a simple nail trim or a full grooming session, I’m committed to making every visit as comfortable, calming, and enjoyable as possible.
Before I took over I spent three years gaining valuable experience working alongside the previous owner and getting to know our wonderful clients and their pets.
My goal is not simply to groom your dog, but to create a positive experience where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. From playful puppies to beloved seniors, and every age in between, each pet receives individualized attention and plenty of love here at Waggles.
Our canine customers love the way they look when they leave the salon!
BIG WAGGLE was named “Maui’s Best Dog Grooming Salon 2025” by Maui Times!
Being recognized by the Maui community meant more to us than words can express. We are truly grateful for your continued support and trust.

Alyssa is the best groomer on the island! I have two small poodles and she treats them with the same love and patience as me. She is attentive to detail and all grooming requests. My boys love going to see her and come back looking show poodle ready each time! She is also trustworthy and the salon is very clean and well maintained. 100 recommend!

The folks who run this shop are so kind & efficient and their prices are very reasonable. I take my blind rescue there for nail trims and I am always amazed at how quickly they complete it without a peep from my dog. I am so glad to have them in my neighborhood and recommend them wholeheartedly.

I love that she truely loves and cares for all dogs. She is not only a great cutter, but has lots of passion for her work as well as compassion for each dog individually.

Looking for a groomer in Wailuku….someone who is familiar with grooming Shih Tzus. I have two. Kahului is okay, too. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated🙏

Big Waggle Grooming is the best on Maui! It's a family operated business that loves all dogs. Dogs large and small are treated with the most compassion, gently with love. As a dog lover myself I know first hand and would not trust any other groom as well as Big Waggle Grooming
